
International amateur radio expedition to Socotra 7O6T has completed its work. For the first time amateurs from around the world could get a radio signal from the island of Socotra.

Today on Socotra passed heavy rains. There was no rain since November last year, causing the drought on the island.

Tourism back to Socotra. The unrest in Yemen have reduced the traffic of the island, but now on Socotra has increased the number of guests from different countries - Germany, Britain, France, Russia and even Turkey. It became more and more visitors from Arab countries and the Yemen mainland.
